As Project Manager at the Trident Gallery from January-April 2014, I provided assistance with social media, event planning, and mailings. I liaised with the Gallery’s PR firm and vendors. I worked with the objects in the Trident Gallery collection, and helped organize outreach and programming.
Previously, from November 2012-September 2013, I assisted Montserrat College of Art in researching and writing accreditation applications for their first graduate program in Community Arts and Leadership. This job entailed familiarizing myself with the requirements or “standards” of four separate accrediting agencies (Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE); Massachusetts Department of Higher Education (DHE); National Association of Schools of Art & Design (NASAD); New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC)), along with various Montserrat committees, all of whom review competencies, course descriptions, feasibilities, and so on.
Working closely with the Project Director, Professor Rébecca Bourgault, I am helped to lay out a process, aiding with research, and liaising between different groups (Admissions, Finance Office, etc.) who contributed to the final proposals. This included set-up of meetings, finessing document handling, and coordination of in-house and outside constituencies. I aided in developing Market Research. I digitally gathered and compiled all required documents submitted, preparing them for the different applications according to the requirements of each accreditor. I ensured that all required documents were complete and timely, following up with emailed requests for documents and information. I was responsible for reading, editing and revising the documents received from faculty and work groups as they come available, and completed changes and revisions as necessary. I co-wrote the narrative sections for the plan approvals as necessary.
I would be happy to discuss collaborating on many types of project management work.
